Steve has written a fantastic review of George's Somewhere in England record. http://www.freewebs.com/extratexture/somewhereinengland.htm
While I disagree on the greatness of this ablum, I do enjoy his review and the parralels he draws between Harrison and Zappa. I also enjoy his analysis on All Those Years Ago and how he attacks some misconceptions about that song. I'd love to read more of his thoughts on that song alone. I have always felt that the version of the album that George presented to WB was far superior than the one that was released, except that All Those Years Ago wouldn't have been on the album and that would have been a shame.

"Songs like ‘Unconsciousness Rules’, ‘Life Itself’, ‘Blood From A Clone’, ‘Lay His Head’, ‘Sat Singing’ were all some of his best work in a collection of material that far outshone his former partners in sheer quality and effort put in."
Oh, sure...
